It’s a simple request and a few choice words will certainly bring joy to their hearts. Mom, Happy Mother’s Day, and I Love you.
Mothers nurture, care, love.
They feed us, and clothe us, wipe our running nose
Stay up with us when we are sick.
They try to make us good people by teaching us right from wrong.
They help us to understand how telling the truth is always the right thing to do.
Mothers never judge and always carry hope.

Sending special thanks to all the moms who fill our hearts and homes with love each day.
For our family, the day will be spent at our house today. Along with my 96 year old mother Laura, will be 4 other family mothers. All will be made to feel special as I and my counter-parts are intending to do all the cooking and clean-up.
Hope all those special ladies in your lives are equally treated.

I once heard a line that tells a story: I didn't know the chicken had a neck until Mother died. It is a story of sacrifice for their children that is part of the spirit of being a mother and is as old as motherhood.
So many children are oblivious to the negatives around them as they have a shield that will protect them from all the bad. It's called Motherhood.

For Mother's Day the Yard was in Bloom
It was a horrible winter and spring has been slow to present itself, but for this Mother's Day in Prospect, CT, the blossoms were out to celebrate. Mother Nature gave us a 80 degree day and the cheers from around the yard were deafening.
There are several azaleas and laurels getting ready to bloom and shortly the day lilies will sprout as well as the lily of the valleys.

Mother's Day in Prospect CT 2013
We have a sunny sky this afternoon and in a short while the family will assemble here in Prospect CT. Another MOther's Day in Prospect CT and all the same people are here again.
Mom looks the same and her spirits are strong. Laura will be 91 years young this year, and still likes to tell here youngest, me, to stay in line.

Mother's Day 2011 . . I hope Every Mother was Happy On This Special Day It should have been a special day for Mother's. A day of acknowledgment and appreciation for all they have done for us.
In our little world, today was different. Today was a day that my 88 year old mother was queen, again for the day.
Unlike in the previous 20 years, however, my wife also had a day of selfishness and leisure.

It's Mother's Day, May 9, 2010 and so many of us will give her a kiss, maybe take her out to dinner, say a prayer for her if she's not here to be appreciated. Mother's are a special group of people,
