For those just reading this, which is the culmination of a 3 month long effort on my part to help my grandson with a school project, trying to find a postcard that offers a quick glimpse of a region's local sites is not easy. The project was to get friends and family to send a postcard properly postmarked from that state with 2 facts relevant to the state, For people that live in a high profile, often visited location such as shore areas of famous historical areas, it was not that difficult. For those who are not familiar with this topic, I have been helping my Grandson Raphael and his class with a project for school. The task is to reach out to friends and family across the country to get postcards with postmarks from the states as well as including 2 facts of that state.
The response from friends, family and ActiveRainers has been extremely positive and as we hit the last days of the project, we have a few states that we have not been able to reach.
We are nearing the end of the school year and with that will be the end of the postcard challenge for my grandson. The class had a task which was to reach out to friends and family across the country to get postcards with postmarks from the states as well as each card to include 2 facts of that state.

Calling All Active-Rainers Need Some Help For A School Project I have seen calls for assistance from time to time, and for what I am asking it will help a child with a school project and probably take no more than a few minutes. Coincidently as we are taking a few days of vacation away from the cold in Connecticut, our grandson Raphael has gotten a project from his teacher. Their charge is to collect post cards from as many states as possible and have them mailed back to them.
