It has been a very stressful week for me and being able to sit down and relax allowed me to reflect to make sure I have not forgotten anything.  The good news was getting a new referral from out of area and after a couple of conversations we set out to view some homes and within 2 days we found one and wrote up an offer that was accepted. This couple were so pleased with my assistance that even before we got the offer accepted I was told that my name had already been given to some friends of theirs that will be buying within the next few months.

Making a Referral a Business Transaction
I recently received a referral from an agent for a listing in one of the towns I service. The sellers had relocated a year ago and the home has been rented the past year. The tenants are moving out of area and the seller wants to decide if they should seek another tenant or just sell the home and move on.

Why Didn’t You Refer me to Another RE/MAX  Agent? One of my re-locating clients recently asked me to help them in finding an agent in their relocation town. They presumed that I would be going into my brand’s registry to get their agent.  Instead I went into the State index for agents that serviced the town where they were going. When asked why I did this, I just explained that it was where I felt I could get them an agent that would take care of them properly.
