No dreaming is necessary for a White Christmas here in Prospect CT based on the white stuff that is coating the ground a week before the big day.
We had almost 6 inches of a coating before it stopped but with temps below freezing it isn't going anyplace any time soon.
At the very least I know I don't need anything from the shed until the weather gets warmer.
It is supposed to get warmer tomorrow, Sunday with a chance of rain which will only make this snow a much bigger problem with the slush and then the heavy ice after.

We are in the eye of another snow storm, this one a definite Noreaster'. The driveway has been cleaned from the last storm and some of the asphalt is showing. We think we are prepared, until I looked out the back door of the house to the deck.
It's a drift that defies gravity and as the snow has been powdery due to the cold. That nose is almost 3 feet long, and that door is to an area with no heat so it can't be getting support from within.
