So, it's Sunday and a lot of us are logged on to make sure we post a blog for the 30 in 30 contest! I often submit blogs for Speechless Sunday - the perfect kind of posting for me. You see, Sundays are a day that I like to stay close to my family and avoid doing much of anything work related, so, the thought of remaining almost speechless is ideal. But, this month, for 5000 points and for the growth of my business, I think I can make an exception!

This weekend my boyfriend and I drove to some local community garage sales. I was out taking photos for the “Know Your Neighborhood” contest and decided we HAD to stop for some shopping! HA! Anyway, we picked up two little critters that we just love – both have great energy (which is always very important when buying something that is pre-owned), and both make us smile!

These pictures were taken at Red Rocks Park … a local park that I love to visit with my family. Last week was a perfect time for a hike. While out and about I noticed the beautiful colors on the natural surfaces all around me. I consider myself so lucky to be a Colorado Native … these pictures really demonstrate the beauty of our mile high city!

In Real Estate, we normally do not encourage clients to paint their walls bright colors when selling their homes, BUT, after they move in I am always a big fan of fun (even sometimes wild) color pallets. I hope that some out there can see the same potential in this awesome outdoor textile as I do! What a fun color scheme for outdoor nature lovers! There is inspiration everywhere … it just takes an eye to spot it! This photo was taken at Red Rocks Park in Golden, Colorado ... a park that I just love to frequent.

This weekend, while out for a nature walk, we spotted two little friends in the … very very far … distance. I wish my camera could have gotten the kind of crystal clear shots that the likes of Thomas Mangelsen boast, but, alas, here are a few fun shots.
A skunk scurrying around in the underbrush, most likely searching for a yummy insect snack! Also, what appeared to be a large hawk, was sitting high atop his perch surveying the land.
