Established in 1979 Blackhawk consists of six gated communities covering over 4800 acres five miles east of Interstate 680 in Danville. Silver Maple, Hidden Oaks, Saddleback, Silver Oak, Oakridge & Main Gates (Country Club Area) are diverse neighborhoods within the community.
