Free Yoga In The Park classes are being offered for Palos Verdes homes owners to enjoy. This fun outdoor activity is great for all levels and beginners are welcome. You must bring a mat or blanket to practice in the grass areas. The instructor is Gretchen Kamrath, who is a Certified yoga Instructor, and the classes are currently taking place on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Ryan Park located at 30349 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes.

Malaga Cove Summer Concert Series will begin on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Farnham Martin Park located next to the Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes Estates. The concerts are held on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. and continue through August 31st. Thanks again to the Malaga Cove Business & Professionals Association and the Palos Verdes Police Association who sponsor these concerts for your summer entertainment. Tennis players from the Palos Verdes Peninsula and South Bay are getting ready for the 38th Annual Tracy Austin Doubles Tennis Tournament, which will be held on July 15 to 17, 2016. This tournament is named in honor of tennis celebrity Tracy Austin, and proceeds from the event benefit the Pepper Tree Foundation which contributes to the maintenance and development of parks, trails and open space in the Rolling Hills Estates community.

We have been celebrating Earth Day on April 22 in this country since 1970. The first Earth Day led to the creation of the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the passage of the Clean Air, Clean Water and Endangered Species Act.

Palos Verdes AYSO Soccer (Region 10) is now accepting early bird online registration for Fall 2016. The Palos Verdes Region 10 of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) offers year round recreational and competitive youth soccer programs locally for four year olds (U5 division) all the way up to 19 year olds (U19).
The online registration for Fall soccer is now available. All players must go towww.eayso.org and register in the eayso database.
