During the rise and heyday of Las Vegas some very famous celebrities took their respites here. Everyone from the members of the Rat Pack to Sidney Sheldon had a place in this community and the public knew about it. Back then the area was known as the Beverly Hills of Palm Springs. Even Elvis spent his honeymoon in Vista Las Palmas!
