Belly Dancers will be performing for the public at the New Perry Hotel, on Saturday December 11, 2010. The performance will benefit Toys For Tots and everyone is invited to attend the show and donate a new, unwrapped toy to be given to needy children in the local community. With the lingering recession, the US Marine Corp's Toys for Tots program's is facing greater challenges in fulfilling their mission of helping less fortunate children experience the joys of Christmas. Spend the short trip working on your laptop or resting comfortably, as your train zips past frustrated drivers fighting traffic on I-75. With travel time of less than 1-hour, the train would be an opportunity for local residents to take advantage of all the shopping, sporting events and entertainment, Atlanta has to offer. Many residents in middle ga are surprised to learn that there is a beautiful new state park and fishing area right in our backyard. Opened this past June, the lake is over 100 acres and stocked with large mouth bass, bluegill bream, channel catfish and sunfish. The lake is now open for fishing either by boat or along the shore. The boat ramp is easily accessible and there is plenty of parking. Eventually, the entire area will be an estimated 800 acre state park and wildlife management area.
