Remember the good old days, like 15 years ago, when you could buy solar panels in Sacramento for about $6,000 to cover a 2,000 square foot house and generate enough electricity to sell some back to the electric company for a profit? Ha! Nowadays, that objective seems like a dream.
True, I don't know much about solar panels apart from the expense, the cost to maintain and replace, and how buyers view solar panels. Why, I even have solar on my vacation house in Hawaii to run the water heater. But even that has a valve that lets me turn the source … (11 comments)
