Over the years, I've had no qualms about grabbing a sledgehammer and demolishing kitchens, wherever I've lived. There was a period in my life as well when I spent about 10 years buying homes, fixing them up and selling them. What we call flipping today. Because I knew the sorts of improvements buyers would like. The trick was to make small improvements that were inexpensive yet had the appearance of luxury. The homes looked more expensive.
