realtorcom: First Time Home Buying Scams in Sacramento - 10/06/15 08:51 AM
Navigating stuff online has been increasingly complex and it's even harder for a first-time home buyer in Sacramento. They don't know what to believe. They go to Zillow and find listings that are sold, and to Trulia to find listings that are not on the market, and even Realtor.com has some time lags to it so new listings are not immediate.
Yesterday I received an email from what was disguised to look like Realtor.com but was really an outfit in Australia called RealSatisfied. It asked to link reviews to our Nerds number and license number in Realtor.com. It said it sent me … (6 comments)

Ah, the rumors about Move are true. Everybody knows that Realtor.com is losing audiences to Zillow giant, which is presently absorbing Trulia. What a feast going on. I know I used to advertise many many years ago on Realtor.com but I stopped because it was like throwing money into the air and watching it float away, even the birds wouldn't use it to feather a nest. News Corp. is giving $950 million to Move.

A representative from Realtor.com called me to announce that Realtor.com had redesigned its web site, which I already knew because I read Inman News and receive daily Google alerts. Curious to check it out and view it from a consumer's perspective, I popped over to Realtor.com this morning.
Wow, the site is beautiful. It's supposed to offer easy navigation and enrich the personal search experience. From all appearances, it is a vast improvement.
