richard thompson: What is the Top Price You Would Pay for VIP Concert Tickets? - 09/15/15 11:09 AM
My husband was just telling me about a couple of our friends, Eileen and Andy, when Eileen bought her fiance a set of towels with fish on them for his birthday. Andy, our friend, shoots excellent under-water photography and does SCUBA. Eileen's rationale made sense, you know, he likes fish, they need towels, they were cute towels and she liked them, and after you shop for the guy who wants nothing (like my husband, for example), I can see how a person can get carried away and end up buying her guy towels decorated with fish.

richard thompson: The Worst Thing to Ever Have to Tell a Sacramento Short Sale Seller - 01/20/12 02:14 AM
I could say the seller should have called this Sacramento short sale agent sooner in the process. But so many drag their feet to the last possible worst moment. I could say the buyer should have increased his offer by $2,000 when I asked him to do it. But many buyers are dumb. It had plenty of pleats, too. It wasn't a kilt. He paired it with a black, form-fitting shell and walked past us barefoot in the aisle. I didn't notice skirt guy, but my husband did.
He has a right, noted my husband, to be comfortable and wear whatever he … (7 comments)
