I am hugely in love [read: obsessed] with Pinterest.  As a visual learner, I love looking at all of the pictures of beautiful and interesting things.
 
One thing I have come to realize, though, is that it’s really the “quirky” or “custom” items that I am drawn to.  You know, that wiener dog that looks like Chewbacca, or that gorgeous French blue and gold wedding cake.

For those of you who know me, you know that I vote as an "Independent".  In Presidential Elections and other elections, I vote for whomever I feel is going to best lead this country, state, county or city.
In today's Presidential Election, I voted for Romney.  Four years ago I voted for Obama.

February 2011 Home Sales Decrease, Median Prices Increase
According to the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors (GNAR) there was a 13.3% decrease in home sales in February (in comparison to last year's February home sales).
There was a glimmer of hope for median home sale prices:  the median price for a single family residence in the greater Nashville area increased $10,000 when compared to February 2010. 
Not such good news for condos, which declined by $17,950 when compared to February 2010.
To me this is fatiguing news.  It's really rough out there in the real estate market for sellers.

I Got a Laugh from Zillow Today

Today I had an email in my inbox from Zillow.  It read "Your Zestimate has increased 1.1%".  I opened up the email and immediately started laughing out loud - yes, folks, I was lol-ing all over the place!
Zillow proclaimed to me that my house was now worth $190k. 
Now, being a very realistic real estate agent, I know what the value of my home is worth.

It has finally happened!  Oak Hill has partnered with Earth Savers to pick up trash and recycling.
Having moved from Green Hills to Oak Hill, I was shocked to learn that there was no option for recycling in Oak Hill.  In Green Hills, Metro had provided as many containers as someone wanted in order to be able to recycle.  They would not recycle glass, but everything else was a go.
