A year ago I wrote about caring for a senior pet. I had already been doing it for a year and a half at that point.
I'm heartbroken to say, I am no longer doing it. Corrie passed away last week.
Corrie was older at 8.5 years when she came to live with us, a gorgeous retired grand champion show dog. She was also bilingual, which drew the attention of many neighbors who heard me talking to her in Spanish. I took it in school. It's not great, but Corrie understood just the same. At least she pretended to.
