Good news for homeowners in the north county. The HomeDex numbers for last month just came out, and the results were fabulous as a whole! It’s also great news for potential home buyers that have been on the fence and not sure about the direction of the housing market. Here’s a quick glimpse at the North San Diego County Association of Realtors HomeDex report. The numbers speak for themselves. First, we’ll start with the median price for all single family homes, detached or attached in the North County of $393,500 in March 2011. That is a major increase from the (0 comments)
For those of you who participated in the Bulldog Bike race this weekend, I salute you! The Bulldog Bike race is part of the MARSOC Hardcore race series, which includes 3 mud runs, a half-marathon, bike races, a duathlon, and a triathlon. Make no mistake, “hardcore” is definitely the key word here. In all, there are ten events that make up this intense series of races that is both fun and challenging. At the end of the year, points from each race are tallied up and an overall winner is announced. This past Saturday morning, registration began at 7:30am at the Las Pulgas parade deck (0 comments)
Attention fellow golfers! The Crossings at Carlsbad is putting on another great event on the 20th of this month. The entry fee is a low $85 per person, but if you're a member it will (0 comments)

And for good reason, because most of the time I come away from the experience more than a bit disappointed. Now, let me preface by saying that I am not your average Cuban sandwich consumer. I am (in my opinion) a (0 comments)
It was the end of summer, 2010. I was running along my usual route on the Pacific Coast Highway, when to my left about 20 road bikes came streaming by. Now, I'm not a fast runner, but it seemed like these bikes were going 60 miles per hour! What fun, I thought to myself as I continued my run. Knees aching from the consistent pounding of my feet hitting the asphalt, it dawned on me. Why am I not riding a bike? With that one question, my adventure began. After getting home and going through my cool down and (2 comments)
