Here is recent article in the Press with update on beach replenishment at the north  of Avalon.  Sand will be delivered by trucks  in time for our 2009  trucks to 10th, 12th, and 15th Streets, and spread by heavy machinery from 9th through 18th Streets.  
 
Stone Harbor beach replenishment project is still pending for 98th street to 111th street.
