The Seligman Historical Society-Cottage Hotel
The Seligman Historical Society Building is in need of renovation.  The 2009 Seligman Historical Society Phone Directory is the only fund raising method used to fund the project.
Nancy and I are listed in this directory because we both believe in preserving our historic buildings.  The Society is housed in the Cottage Hotel, built circa 1912 by Mrs. Anna Spencer.  The front part of the hotel was used as living quarters and the remaining rooms rented to cowboys and railroaders.  Besides being a boarding house, te cottage Hotel was used as a birthing place for expectant mothers. On February 12, 1998 the State Historic Preservation Office in Phoenix declared the hotel a historical landmark.
