My Son's Wax Musuem at School This Week
This week my son and his class completed a project.  In a nutshell, they had a list of people to pick from.  This list consisted of influencial people in history.  Some are alive today and some have not been with us for hundreds of years.
This list included people like Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, Neil Armstrong, just to name a few.
After picking a name, the kids would have to research that individual and write a short speech about their life.  Ultimately, the entire 5th grade would impersonate their choice for the rest of the school.  It was a great way to teach the kids about that individual and share with their classmates.  My son recited his speech 96 times today and will do it again on Friday.  All of the kids did great and taught me some tidbits of information I was not familiar with.
There were over 70 characters, I am sharing the pictures of the kids I know personally and received permission to display their pictures.  Enjoy!
