I'm taking my best client EVER out today!
Today I have a client I LOVE.  I've been working on them for over 10 years, trying to get them to move to my area.  GRINDING on them that they should. Whining, pleading, arguing.... nearly bribing.... all to no avail.  But now it's happening.  Who is this all important super client?  My Mom and Dad.
If you read my post on how I learned to really like my Mom, you know that we are close.  But only emotionally.  They live out in the ginkly weeds, on a planet far, far away.  OK, sorry, Vegas Bob, but Las Vegas is another world away from Fair Oaks. They have a great view home, and a ton of friends and card groups that my Mom skins plays with regularly. My Dad has slowed down, and doesn't leave the house much.
My conniving, cajoling and whining finally hit home, however.  Their neighbor bought their home (in Las Vegas' tough market, that's a  huge win), and Mom is arriving here today to go search for a new home in Sun City Roseville.  
Those of you with aging parents know what a win this is.  Mine are both over 85, and I'm their closest support.  It ... more
