This blog is for swingers...
I watched a golf show on PBS last evening.    Heaven knows why I watched it as I don't play golf and have no interest in the game.   Guess I was just too lazy to change the channel.    The host of the show was giving tips on how to improve your game.
As I watched and listened it occurred to me that practically everything he was saying about golf could be applied to real etsate sales.
Here are some comparison's I was able to draw from the show.   
- Don't over-think your game.  
- Let your natural instincts take over so you don't over shoot your goal.   As in putting it's better to land just ahead of your target than behind it.
- Never tell yourself, "Don't blow it!"   The mind forgets the "Don't" part and only remembers "blow it."   Be confident.
- Check your stance and position to the target before you swing.
- Focus on your target.   Ignore traps and roughs to the left and right.   Place your concentration only where it belongs.
- Keep score of your achievements and correct your mistakes.
- Use only as much energy as it takes to get the job done.    Applying ... more
