Saying good-by to two good old friends, Canon Copier and Sharp Fax.
 

Technology has moved so rapidly.  It's hard to keep up and sometimes we just find it too expensive to keep up or we just don't want to part with old helpers that still work fine.
My records show that I bought this Canon copier in 1996.  It is the kind that you do one page at a time.  That takes a little time but then we had this kind in the offices.  We didn't have the zip through marvels that we now use.
It has been a workhorse.  I had no trouble with it and had to buy a cartridge very few times.  It will still work BUT some screw that held the little feeder door broke and that screw messed up the paper holder and now the paper holder won't open and close.

Then this Sharp fax machine is probably even older.  I didn't keep my purchase date.  It has also been a workhorse.  I put rolls of paper in it.
I decided to be fancier and replaced it once with one that called a plain-paper fax.  That was the worst fax ever.  I took it to the office and set it up front with a sign ... more
