Montgomery MD Real Estate Report for June 2009 Home Sales in Montgomery Maryland Still Saw the Average Price of Homes Sold Drop of -15.85% Compared to Same Sale Period June 2009, and sales of homes in Montgomery MD increased 20.90% over last year.  Montgomery Md Homes Sales have increase because it is driven by the distressed nature of the market.  Bank owned, short sales, pre-foreclosures are bringing prices down.  You can tell this by looking average list price, and final sales prices. The average price  of Montgomery Maryland Homes Sold is Still Trending to Move Lower .
Days on market have increased to 94 days, which means homes that are priced correctly are selling. and the average list price sales price ration is still widening and at 91.47% LP/SP ratio is not good news.  It reflect that it is still a strong buyers market, and that sellers on the average can expect to give up about 11%+ off the list price of the home to make a sale.  That is not counting sellers contributions or concessions to the purchaser.
