RO's Outpost BBQ in Spicewood TX- Best Pie for 8 Years Running
R.O's Outpost B.B.Q has won several awards over the years, and also comes with a side of a romantic story.  I met with the owners this afternoon, and I'll start with the story.

Randy and Kathy Osban met while working at Clark's Outpost BBQ in Tioga, TX some 27 years ago.  They worked there for 12 years.  Almost 14 years ago, they were in the Texas Hill Country on vacation, having lunch at a restaurant and asked what happened to the BBQ place next door.
The owner happened to be around and asked if they wanted to see it, and they did.  Right down the street is a street called RO Drive.  RO happens to be Randy's initials.  They drove down that street, made a left on Bee Creek Rd, and guess what street was just about 1/2 mile down?  You guessed it, Kathy Ln.
This was more than just a coincidence.  This was a sign that everything was meant to fall into place right here in Spicewood, TX.  They never made it back to Tioga as they made their home right here.
