I love me some "Chicken Bog" Anyone that hasnt tried it has got to!
Its south'n soul food, a comfort food. Many different recipes but basically, you make home made chicken soup the ole fashion way with the whole chicken boiled in water...then remove the contents...everything but the broth, measure out the remaining broth and add the appropriate amt of rice-youre just boiling the rice in broth instead of water. shred the chicken and throw it back in, add some breakfast sausage pieces and season to taste...salt/pepper garlic etc. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Got to try it!
