Celebrate Thanksgiving every day!
As we approach that wonderful holiday that thanksgiving is, I just want to share with everyone something that has helped me greatly throughout the years.
But first let me tell you why Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday... For most of you it is an occasion to be with family & friends, sharing a delicious dinner with traditionnal dishes. With my family scattered around the globe (France, Vietnam, the Philippines & my daughter in Missouri while we are in Hawaii), in my 31 years of mariage, we have never had a big family Thanksgiving dinner! Yet this Holiday is dear to me because of it's meaning. It is a time to pause & reflect on all the things we appreciate. It is a Holiday devoid of material gift giving, when we are thankful for what we have... material possessions & people in our lives!
People sometime comment on how always cheerful & content I am and my secret lies in the deep appreciation I have for being alive in this world. Hardly a day goes by without me being grateful! I am even grateful  for the people with a harsh or negative attitude, because they give me a valuable lesson. The buddhist say"love your ... more
