Bettendorf, Iowa First Half 2007 Real Estate Market Report: Home Sales Down 2.1%, Average Home Sales Price Up 2.6% from 2006!
 Real Estate Market Report of Home Sales for January-June 2007 for Bettendorf, Iowa:
                                                                                                 
Bettendorf, Iowa First Half 2007 Home Sales Down 2.1%, Average Sales Prices Up 2.6% from 2006!
REALTOR-assisted "Closed" single-family home sales in the city of Bettendorf, Iowa decreased by 2.1% in the first two quarters of 2007, down from the same period in 2006.
With 230 closed sales transactions from January 1 to June 30, 2007, the Bettendorf market showed a decrease of 35 units (2.1%) from the 2006 total of 235 closed sales transactions.
On a happier note for home sellers, the average sales price of home sales that closed during the same period showed a respectable increase of 2.6%: up from $232,448 in 2006, to $138,612 in 2007.
The average number of days on the market (from home listing date to sale pending date) decreased slightly as well, from 60 Days in 2006, to 57 Days in 2007, an dececrease of 5.1%.
The list price to sales price ratio, (reflecting the percentage of the last recorded listing price of a property versus what the property eventually sold for) increased as well,up from 96.2% in 2006 to 97.1% in 2007. 
The Quad-City Area market is made up of the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, LeClaire, Eldridge and Blue Grass, in Iowa. And Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, and Milan, in Illinois.
