Bush Tents
When I lived in New Hampshire one of my favorite things about winter - and trust me there's not that much I like about winter - were what I call "bush tents" - the structures people build to protect their bushes and shrubs from snow.
 
In the city you don't really see many bush tents.  So I was delighted to come across these in Cambridge recently. They're the first I'd seen in years I think.
 
Spotting this set reminded me of how fond I'd been of these simple structures. In NH people get quite creative with them - you see them in all sorts of styles. My favorite were some that were shingled and painted to match the house.  I guess I'll have to take my camera for a drive some winter day.
