Happy New Year to my AR Peeps...
It's funny... and fun.  I'm sitting here on the couch fielding questions from the 5 year old... he is really tired, but wants to ring in the New Year... we have 55 minutes to go.  My phone has been vibrating with text messages all evening... friends from the Rain, from outside of the Rain... family... all wishing me a Happy New Year and saying hello. 
Life is good... 
Over the last couple of years, I have had the opportunity... the wonderful opportunity... to meet with scores of my friends from here on Active Rain, as well as others from the "RE.net".  At NAR Conventions, reBarCamps, Inman Connect, REtechSouth and other events, there have been "official Gatherings" as well as unofficial get-togethers. 
It has evolved from collecting business cards to car-pooling to reBarCamp... and even having a private "Mini-Bar Camp".  Relationships have gone from just networking to having wonderful friends, mentors and resources. 
While I have been in the Rain, and meeting friends here for over 2 1/2 years, it was really 2009 that pushed my involvement here to a different level.  Many have complained of the last year... and it has been a challenge... but I will forever cherish this ... more
