Short Sale Experts in Metro Detroit.  Almost everyone has heard of a short sale, however has the person you hire been involved in the short sale process?  Beware of who you choose.  A short sale expert is anyone who decides to call themselves that, an expert.  The process is not as simple as processing your paperwork, submitting it to the bank and waiting for approval.
No way...no how!!
A short sale is a very difficult time consuming process which involves countless emails, phone calls, submitting and resubmitting information to the lender, and then submitting again.  Most "experts" don't even know where to begin, who to contact or what documents need to be signed.
Also, the short sale is a transaction that the seller should not pay one penny for, if they are working with a Realtor.  If the short sale is approved, the bank will pay all costs, commissions, back taxes and fees. Including the negotiator!!
If you want to hire an "expert" who is not a Realtor, you will pay. A Realtor will not charge you anything out of pocket for the transaction.
