Palos Verdes are the best rated schools in the state of California.  If you live in the South Bay of Los Angeles County 90275 and 90274 zip codes than you are very fortunate. Palos Verdes has 2 High schools currently to choose from. Both are college preparatory and excellent test scores.  The latest article written on the high schools said that Palos Verdes High School excels in athletics and Peninsula High School excels in academic scores and accelerated classes.  Don't be deceived, the "Jock" school still has great test scores as usual so those athletes still have to hit the books hard.
