When a seller does the unexpected....One of my best clients in 21 years!
The owner of one of the properties that I just sold this past week at 10 Redwood Drive in Milford Massachusetts did something that I will never forget. It actually started about a year prior when I had their home on the market in 2006. I had put the home on the market and did the typical marketing efforts that I would on any home I am selling in the Metrowest MA area. It went under agreement a few months after I initially listed it. I drew up all the contracts and attended the inspections as any good Realtor would.
As it turns out, the buyer got cold feet and decided that they did not want to move forward with the purchase. During this time the seller found out that they would not need to be moving, as the job they had planned on was not panning out. The seller decided to take their home off the market and told me they would be giving me a call next year when their new employment position was firmed up. Ok no big deal, plans change, this happens from time to time in the real estate business.
