I must admit, for being a Nampa Rotary Club member since 1997, I have missed a lot of meetings lately!
I attended the lunch meeting at noon on Tuesday at the Brick 29 Restaurant here in Nampa, Idaho.
While sitting at the table, we laughed and joked and interacted like school kids giggling during a quiet church meeting.
It occurred to me that the interaction at the table is really where most of the networking takes place!
Since I hadn't been there in several weeks, one of the members at my table mentioned he keeps receiving my post cards in the mail & his wife posts them up on the refrigerator.
Most everyone else at the table confirmed receipt of my monthly mailers. The guy next to me even mentioned he really uses my calendar every year & appreciates getting it!
I truly believe in the mission of Rotary and the slogan of "Service above self" but it's always nice to know that the people we serve next to appreciate your connection and that my marketing efforts don't go unnoticed!
