Are garden tools clean, and stored out-of-reach until next year? Are outdoor toys and furniture in good condition and stored out of the elements if inclement weather is part of winter in your area?Have you made a list of summer items you need and shopped sales now? Are storm windows installed? Are automotive fluids and pesticides stored safely in their original containers in a location where children cannot reach them?Have you checked and cleaned or changed your furnace filters? Are trees trimmed safely back from the home to prevent damage during storms?Have you caulked all windows, doors and other openings in the walls? ... more
