Why Realtor?
What made you decide to enter the world of real estate sales? I find it interesting to discuss this with local folks so I figured a national scale with be even more exciting!
I grew up a railroad brat. By the time I graduated college, I had moved 16 times. For every move we made, there were probably 2-3 "almost moves" in the mix. Pretty much all the time we were getting ready to buy or sell a home.
In high school I would have other kids describe their home. Then I would guess how much their parents paid. Usually I was pretty accurate. But in the interest of full disclosure I must admit that this special skill never got me a date!
After college came a brief stint on the railroad followed by ten years of college teaching. But the love for real estate was always there. Then one day I took the leap. But that's another story...
