The Town of Kenwood is a Wine Country tourist destination, and a great place to live!  
 
Kenwood is an unincorporated part of Sonoma County located between the City of Santa Rosa, and the City of Sonoma on Hwy 12, right in the middle of the "Valley of the Moon".  Driving to Kenwoodcould be considered a vacation in itself.  Beautiful vistas on both sides of the road. Vineyards, orchards,  cattle, art, and wineries.Kenwoodis considered rural residential, however in the heart of the village is a collection of shops, restaurants, tasting rooms, and art galleries that will help fill your afternoon visit.  Venture a few miles in any direction, and you'll find yourself in one of many state parks such as Annadel, Hood, or Sugarloaf. 
It's hard to draw a boundary around the town of Kenwood.  The most obvious way would be to look at the residential area that uses the Kenwood zip code.  I prefer to think of the more residential portion of Kenwood as seen in the map below. There are roughly 1600 +/- residents in this beautiful agricultural community.
