Farmers Market: New in Addison!
Addison, Texas now has a farmers market!  
Less than a month ago, Four Seasons Market Addison began a farmers market at the south east corner of Belt Line Road and the Tollway (in the former Bed Bath & Beyond parking lot).  Originally open only on Sundays, the Addison farmers market was so successful that they are now open on Saturdays and Sundays.  The hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
I shopped there yesterday. In addition to the produce, vendors were selling honey, plants and herbs, cupcakes (kids were decorating their own), barbeque, crafts, and more.  The tomatoes and peaches looked so irresistible and I bought some from Little John's Plants and Produce. I'll have to make room in the refrigerator for the watermelon that's on my shopping list for next week.
Stop by Village on the Parkway (formerly Sakowitz Village for us old-timers) any Saturday or Sunday for the Addison farmers market.  It's easy to find - just look for the tents.
