That's a question folks often ask me as I go about my daily business.
Being the local real estate guy, folks feel comfortable stopping me in stores or at civic events to ask about real estate.
My simple answer, "The bottom hit in April 2008."
The questioner's mouth drops open, their eyes go blink-blink.
"But Erick, what about ALL THESE homes for sale?"
I reply, "The fact is, our inventory of homes for sale is at record low levels, and many agents don't slap a "SOLD" sign in the sign post."
