Navarre Beach Is Back!
If you haven't been to Navarre Beach lately, it's a good time to go back!  Post hurricane repairs are in full swing and the beach is once again alive with local activity. 
They've recently rebuilt wooden bridges (to include handicap ramps) over the sand dunes providing easier access for all, and to protect the natural vegetation.  Showers have been added to the edge of the parking lot and there's usually ample parking. 
 
Efforts to restore the sand dunes with their natural vegetation are underway:
On your way to the Navarre Bridge you'll see that the new Chamber of Commerce building is coming along nicely!  This past Tuesday the building received a nice shade of blue paint that makes it almost disappear into the background.  The Children's Water Park is always full of children and the Panhandle Butterfly House is open and full of butterflies and volunteers.  It reopened after repairs in May of 2006 and is a local favorite.  http://www.panhandlebutterflyhouse.org/
