Buying A Home is very serious, and should be taken seriously.  Of course, there is nothing that says you can't have fun and enjoy it at the same time.  When you choose the home of your dreams, you will want to have a home inspection performed by a licensed, reputable home inspector.   Otherwise, Your dream home could turn into a nightmare. 
 
You may think that the house looks great and could possibly have no problems...That is where a home inspector comes in.  A home inspector will check things like structural components, plumbing, electrical, appliances, roof and attic, crawl spaces, windows, doors, code violations...The list goes on for days!  Then, the home inspector will prepare a report (usually several pages) listing any problems, current or potential, and usually a list of suggested repairs.  Maybe that bay window you absolutely love ... more
