Picture hanging trick for the dreaded "D" ring type hangers
This is such cool information.. I really dread hanging art with this type of hangers,  so thanks Karen for the advice.  I will be doing this from now on!!!
I don't know about you, but I have hated those "D" ring type picture hangers, especially when working alone.  While I know many will opt to use picture hanging wire and for go trying to figure this out without getting frustrated I wanted to share something with you that may be of use. If a picture is too heavy it's best to stick with using the D ring type hangers for safety reasons and you may find yourself lacking wire to hang heavy artwork. I learned a trick from someone a while ago about hanging shelving with holes in the back using painter's tape as your guide and figured why not try the same method on the "D" ring type hangers.  It has thankfully worked. 
Below I'll share the trick with you on how to hang artwork with "D" ring type hangers.
