GOVERNMENT WARNING Do Not Travel Highway 8 in AZ TOO DANGEROUS
GOVERNMENT WARNING Do Not Travel Highway 8 in AZ TOO DANGEROUS

On Highway 8, which is just around 50 - 80 miles north of the Arizona Mexico border, that runs from Arizona's highway 10 to San Diego, has several signs posted by the US Government warning people to not travel this American highway.
The reason is because of the drug cartel and coyotes using the highway making it too dangerous for Americans to travel.
It's interesting because the signs say if you see "suspicious activity" to call 911. The 911 calls don't go to the government, they go to the local Police Departments, and the government has sued AZ to stop them from enforcing the laws. So what could the Police do if they're called?
I live in Val Vista Lakes, a wonderful sub-division in the East Valley of Phoenix AZ, and have travelled highway 8 to San Diego in the past, and would like to be able to do it again.
It's unfortunate that my family and our Val Vista Lakes friends and neighbors are advised that it's unsafe to drive our own highways.
