Playgrounds for young children (Redding, CA)
Fifteen public playgrounds across Shasta County have been developed especially for young children under five years old. The playgrounds are funded by First 5 Shastaand feature age-appropriate play equipment and a safe place for youngsters to explore, develop new skills and get the wiggles out. On the playground, children challenge their bodies by climbing and crawling. They make friends and learn to share by interacting with other children.
