365 things to do in Worcester county - Zinnias Hubbardston Bakery, who doesn't love a good pastry in the morning?  Ok, people, I'm not looking for all Atkins fans to start commenting on how unhealthy muffins and all carbohydrates are.  But haven't we all had the urge to splurge on a moist, nutty pastry once in a while?
Well, Zinnias Bakery in Hubbardston is one of these places where your mouth starts to water as you enter the quaint little shop in the middle of town.  Owned by a local woman and serviced by her family member, this little shop is the home to a yummy assortment of baked goods.  I sampled a Bourbon pecan square and finished off with a Connolly for desert :)
Other than pastry, Zinnias Bakery in Hubbardston serves coffee and sells freshly made bread.  There is a small table with chairs for people who want to grab a quick bite.  The business has been open since Memorial Day of this year (2010) so it very new to the Hubbardston public.  I encourage you to stop by sample a sugary concoction and support this entrepreneurial endeavor.
