Location is still King in Sarasota You’ve heard it a thousand times – location, location, location. Location is still King.
The tried and true real estate mantra holds true in Sarasota real estate as well. Not only because Sarasota itself is an amazing location, but within Sarasota, location is key.
We are very fortunate that the vast majority of our city is in a desirable real estate location. When looking at Sarasota real estate, the closer you are to the beach/Gulf, the Bay front, or downtown proper - the more expensive the property is bound to be.
This market has seen  remarkable reductions in values, prompting multiple sources to name Sarasota as the best buy both nationally and internationally. But although the sliding scale has slid to the low end, the rules still apply – overall, beach and waterfront properties are more expensive than those on Elm or Oak Street.
