Helen Ga Real Estate "Are We There Yet"?
"Are we there yet"?   How many times have I heard that, children in the back seat, bored,impatient, tired and just ready to get back to their games, friends and whatever we left at home.  I find myself impatient tonight, not wanting to write this post, impatient with my time, business and life.  "Stop and smell the roses" I hear this refrain somewhere in the back of my mind and I wonder if I can remember the last time I did this.  We all get too busy with the time stealers in life.  Too much email, too many phone calls and text messages, too many "fraud alert" telemarketers, too much junk mail.  Too much time on the computer, ever notice how many distractions pop up as you try to take care of business?  Do you get impatient with the day, rushing through, wondering "Are we there yet"?  We are all taught the harder we work, the further ahead we get in this life.  True?  Maybe not.  A contemporary of mine says he only works 4 days a week, in real estate.  He says his office and other realtors realize he needs Friday to regroup.  But he is a ninja worker also.  Once he comes to work, ... more
