Poconos Real Estate Market
It's September already, and school has started, but it's not too late to buy a home and move before the winter comes! The Pocono Mountains currently has 2,812 homes on the market in Monroe County, according to the Flex MLS system this morning. 125 of them are foreclosures and 266 are short sales and they range in all areas, price range & condition. The average days on market for these currently active listings is 165.  Last month, in the Poconos, we sold 104 residential homes in Monroe County. 29 of these were foreclosures, and 2 were short sales. The average days on market was 114, and the average sold price was $170,802. Prices and interest rates are still low, so you can continue taking advantage of this market!
