The homes new to the market in Rhinebeck NY during the month of August had an age range of over 300 years, this was because the oldest stone house in Rhinebeck  came on the market; the Abraham Kip house.
Between the Town of Rhinebeck and the Village of Rhinebeck there were 5 sales ranging from $245,000-$445,000, with another 4 in contract and 5 with offers.
Rhinebeck continues to be a great tourist destination, and during August the Dutchess County Fair held at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds brought even more visitors to town.
Why is Rhinebeck so popular? because of access to Amtrak, the fine boutique stores and restaurants as well as its proximity to historical sites.
