Apple Hasn't Heard We're In A Recession

Had a lovely date with my husband yesterday. We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory after visiting the Apple Store at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta. I thought if we got to the Apple store early, we would be able to look at everything at our leisure. Wrong! The store was full of customers with people waiting in line to pay for their purchases.
They seemed to have more staff (wearing their blue Apple shirts) than most other stores in this economy,  but there still wasn't enough for the demand. I finally got someone to demonstrate the Ipad to me. I told him I was a realtor and a lot of my friends were buying it. I wanted to see it demonstrated. I then asked for a brochure (so I could remind Santa). He said everything they had was online and they tried to keep it paperless. I would have loved to have a brochure to look at later, but no luck.
As you looked around the room, the average age was about 25. They definitely have some neat products and would loved to have stayed and played a little longer. The demonstration Ipad didn't have any of the cool apps that enhance ... more
