Things to Do in Charlotte NC - 46th Annual Festival in the Park What are you going to be doing September 23 - 26 in Charlotte NC?   Mark your calendar for the festival that Charlotteans look forward to each year (and have since 1964)!  The festival where we all congregate in the fall for the art, music, shopping and carnival-style food, is one of Charlotte's favorite events of the year.  Charlotte's 46th annual FESTIVAL IN THE PARK is this month--beginning in a short 10 days!   Festival in the Park is held at Freedom Park in the Dilworth/Myers Park area off of East Boulevard.
